Are you on the stock suspension? If so, did you notice any change in the way the wheel gap looks?

Thanks.

Hello everybody, I have a quick question regarding Wheel/tire size. I don’t have much knowledge regarding f30 wheels/tire size fitments.

Is this size,

Wheel size: 19x8.5 ET 35 (front). Tire size: 225/40/19.
Wheel size: 19x9.5 ET 35 (rear). Tire size: 255/35/19.
too big of a setup for a F30 with h&r sport lowering springs? I don’t want to roll my fender or alter my car too much just to fit wheels. If anybody has a similar setup, let me know.

Hi Folks, I'm interested in getting a set of HRE FF04 in 19" size. I've got a 440i GC on stock suspension. From all the reading I've done on here, it seems like not too many folks are running the FF04 in the 19" fitment besides Sayzar.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to the wheel and tire size required?

My understanding is the following:
F: 19x8.5et 30
R: 19x9.5et 42

The HRE guy I spoke to said that I should run F: 235/45R19, R: 265/40R19 in order to not change the rolling diameter of the wheel. My current wheels are 225/45R18. This is a 5% difference in diameter, wouldn't this mess up my speedo and other sensors?

Thanks

the HRE guy is incorrect. you need to run 235/40/19, 265/35/19. alternately you can run 245/35/19, 255/35/19 but it would look better with slight lowering. the girthiest you can try is 245/40/19, 275/35/19 however the front may rub the fenderwell liner while turning at full lock and the rear will be bulging slightly since 9" is the minimum for a 275/40.

.

Do you happen to know if HRE has these in stock in the Taramac finish? I inquired about a set earlier this year for my 440 GC and was told they were out of stock and uncertain if/when they'd have them again.

Not sure. I've been looking at M0dbargain's website. As far as HRE claims, they don't have a 19" fitment for the FF04 .

Thanks for the help guys. I will order soon and post an update if I figure it out!

How do you like the Dinan springs and did you get the Dinan bump stops too?

Yeah, I'm running the Dinan springs and bump-stops (aka "supplemental ride quality & handling kit"). It's been great for me, and I've been running this combo on the stock EDC shocks since January 2020 (probably about 12,000 miles). My car is driven daily. I like the drop since it's mild enough to both look good and avoid the scraping that I'd indefinitely face on a day-to-day basis. I'd also like to get the Dinan Shockware flash for the EDC to further take advantage of the setup.

Have aout 1000 miles on them so far. They are great, I really like the grip and they for sure inspire confidence with the turn in. Only negative I found when researching is that the tread life isn't great compared the the competition.

With that being said I still love the MPSS that I have on my M3. I would say for the price the Hankooks are great!
