I have the ones for the E90. kreuz has an F32 and the quickfits. I don't remember if he got the E90 or E92 versions.

I'm not sure if you read the rest of the posts, but these were not designed for the F30 because there is no pass through. All the homemade fixes haven't really been tested and I would be cautious taking them on a track and relying on them to save your life without a seat pass through. In the least I would get a proper racing seat then get the Quick Fit.

The F3X have pass throughs between the headrest posts the same as the E90, the F8X doesn't.

Oops my mistake. I was thinking of the F80.

According to Schroth they were designed for the E90 and the different F30 seat positions would change the angles of the belts outside of their functional range. Certain DE's, clubs, and organizations will not pass these belts for cars they are not designed for. I understand that some will pass them, but I would be more concerned why other don't and why the manufacturer of said product warns against it as well.

That being said, you won't really know until you really need it.

You make a big deal about using the QF/QFP in cars that the harnesses weren't designed for (which is warranted), but you also suggest pairing the QF/QFP with a "proper racing seat":

You know Schroth states that QF/QFP aren't approved for use with fixed back seats, right? There's currently only one fixed back race seat that Schroth has approved for use with QF/QFP.

I would of course do the research first. If there is only one that is approved, I'd get that. That's what I mean by "proper". If you need to run a harness, I'd do that. My point was, the stock seats aren't approved. If you really want to use the quick fit, you have to get another seat that works with it.

Kinda defeats the point of a "quick fit" though doesn't it?

Just installed a Schroth harness. Tossed the car around a bit and it felt extremely secure. Kept me well planted to my seat.

Some people might not like this but oh well:

Takata racing
Drift or race model
ASM 4 point harness .
Universal.

Takata racing bought Schroth racing a few years ago that's why they have ASM approval:

https://www.takataracing.com/item/ra...lt/race-series

Also for those who question schroth asm system. My friend rolled his focus st with the 4
Point ASM harness no issues. Schroth even asked for the video and offered to exchange his used set for a brand new one!

Think the ASM is a big part of the product cost for Schrott/Takata

Does the takata also use the standard buckles in the back? I don't see it mentioned

Which club allow anti sub ASM points in NY tri state region? Closest I see in the writing is if the belt is certified for specific model (like E92 M3) which no longer apply to any F/G series BMW aka don't even think about 4 points.

I've been using the E90 Schroth 4 points in my f30 with NASA for a couple years no problem. I also saw a listing in motorsportreg for an event recently that specifically said the only 4 point they allow is Schroth. Unfortunately I don't remember which club that was.
