i'm very tempted to jump from PB stg1, right to BM3...
bet the difference is night and day...just in terms of delivery...not to mention area under curve... safe to assume a upgraded DP is pretty much mandatory on a PWG car...? |

Just read through this thread, so is the consensus that a pwg car only really makes power if running e85 mixtures on a piggyback tune?
I have a 13 335xi with pwg, catless dp and jb4 on map 5 and it feels slow sometimes. I drove a brand new 18 340i stock with mppk and mpe seemed faster even though my car should be making like 400hp and 400tq. Do I need to find ethanol to mix and hook up the flex fuel wires to feel a bigger difference? Does anyone have a link to dyno or 1/4mile time comparisons of a jb4 n55 car on pump gas versus an e85 mix, I can't seem to find anything on the google machine.

max can be done with pwg turbo is 360-380hp with a proper flash tune depending on mods, so your car doesn't have 400hp for sure. 340i with mppk should have 360hp but it has near 400hp, so yes its faster for sure. stock 340 (without mppk) has also more hp than advertised but is a bit slower than proper flash tuned pwg 335i.

You don't need to unless you run e85. It's optional. I had jb4 and had it off and on and logged and there was no difference (94 octane)

why it should be ? stock is 306hp (not wheel but _crank_ hp as every manufacturer specifies crank hp only) so you think after just adding jb4 you have extra 100hp? are you sure?

Some very early 435i came with PWG. It was VERY rare, and if you were one of the unlucky few
