Garages to do an exhaust change in Reading?
Friend is looking to get the dual exhaust on his 35d. Anybody know any garages they recommend to do this near Reading?

Not sure if Camberley is any good for you?
TWG Automotive are a great independent. Took all my BMWs there for years when we lived in Hampshire. Not to go in to details but did some quite complicated work for me in the past. They might not have done this before but have a chat to Will and see if he can help you out. |

It's not that close (but closer than Liverpool!), but mines was done by EMP in St Albans. Cost was £400.

yeah saw them (pic below of 4 series they did)but again look at finish and narrowing of pipe work looks fussy and not as straight compared to the neat job Cybox do...their diameter the same all way through, and on left they added one neat clamp so u can slide left side in and out to adjust, and on right a solid weld but neat and all smoothed in no slotted in pipes and messy welds like on other...AND Cybox cheaper.

Fair enough, can't say I look at these things that much, but if it's important for you then you should go where you feel most happy with.
If I was doing it now I'd just buy a used 340i system instead, but I did mine nearly 4 years ago when there were a lot less options or others around who had tried stuff. But driving to Liverpool would cost me at least a tank of fuel and a day of my life I wouldn't get back compared to somewhere local!
