Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but I've been always looking through them just never created an account, anyways I recently bought a f30 328i Estoril blue I want to start doing some mods to it.. I really want to start with the exhaust I've been leaning towards the mp exhaust but I'm scared it might be too quiet any idea or recommendations? Was looking at borla but not many videos out there

Edit: definitely meant to write exhaust on the title 😓

For the price the Active is the best deal in my opinion.

Lots of good options, it just depends on your budget and preference.
GTHaus would be the loudest option
AWE and Remus are very similar in terms of how loud they are

PE

Active

AWE

Thread title asks about intake and OP asks about exhaust. I'm confused lol.

If you want loud, stay away from MPE. I had it and it was barely audible IMO.

I have the MPE. The exhaust note is best comparable to the stock 335, G35/37, and 350z. Subtle but nice sounding exhaust. Ada downpipe and you'll be set.

I have the Magnaflow cat back on my 2012 328i and love it. It's a bit louder than stock, sounds meaner, and I get compliments on how it sounds. It's louder than stock under WOT and quiet while cruising down the freeway.

My favorite thing about the exhaust is that it growls and burbles when shifting gears in sport mode. Sounds almost like a slight backfire due to lower back pressure and rich exhaust gases I suspect.

I got mine for $750 on eBay shipped to California. Try the best offer sales and bid stupid low, went through four auctions before a seller accepted this offer.

Check out my review of the exhaust below. WITH VIDEOS!

ARK GRiP

Borla

I went with Borla just because of the fact that ARK's exhaust for the F30 6-speed wasn't done/ready back then and I couldn't wait any more. So I went ahead and bought the Borla cat-back exhaust and it sounds amazing!
