So I'm the one that recommended the JDM Astar bulbs and I took a couple videos so you can see how bright they are. My iPhone has a tough time accurately capturing the color of the bulbs without vastly reducing the exposure.

The JDM Astar ones you linked earlier are the exact same ones I have for all four turn signals and my brake lights. They work very well and the red looks much "redder" than the stock bulbs and the amber is a good shade as well.

I picked up a pair for my turn signals. Will evaluate against the brake lights once I get them in to see if I need to replace the brake lights too.
