From the press release, "Accounting for around 25 percent of total BMW worldwide vehicle sales, the BMW 3 Series Sedan and Sports Wagon represent the brand’s most successful model line with over 14 million sales globally. " (Source: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...41&postcount=1)
Yep, 56M total BMW sales across all models is how I read it.

Maybe the information in the press release that opens this thread contains a factual mistake. What you suggest may be what they meant, but it's not what they wrote. I'm not a mind reader when it comes to what corporations that carefully craft their messages say. I don't put words in their mouths.

For example, you wrote "Your sales figures for BMW are incorrect." They aren't my figures for BMW; they are the figures that result only from using the information stated in the press release that began the thread, and I shared in my earlier post exactly how I arrived at 56M, which is a mathematically logical figure given the statement in the press release.

All the best.
Considering they've been selling 3 series for 40 years, 350k per year doesn't seem too unlikely, does it?

Euro models are show that have always had fogs with M Sport like most of the world.

US dropped them with certain options. May still be so with LCI

In that case, the math does seem a bit off.

DHP is a package that includes the adaptive suspension plus variable sport steering.

So the track package is the new DHP, and it also includes better brakes, wheels, and PSS tires.

At least that's my (educated) speculation, based on the options available on the 228i.

Red face

Did anyone else notice that the dashboard or climate control font is now white instead of amber. The panel climate temperature reader gauge etc...

So, the wallpapers for the ///M3 have the interior still somewhat missing that little change. Although it is about time they got rid of that amber/orange font.

Yes X1 will get the Three Cylinder as will the MINI clubman.
Both the production BMW X1 and MINI clubman are revealed in July.

Do you mean the LCD display? It is still amber.

Good news! I hope that engine will come in the F20/30 too as 120i / 320i. That will be pretty close to the 2002 / E30 spirit people are missing :-) I see the 318 is 125 kilos lighter than the 340. That's alot!

Someone posted on the other forum that PSS come as RFT as well (used on Stingray?).
Anyone knows for sure if the tires included in track pack are RFT or go flats?

Personally I wish they made it brighter since it barely shows up on black interiors.
Looks like there is still just white and orange, but now it goes around the climate control

Yes--someone on Bimmerfest just had his replaced because the dealer scratched it, and they accidently installed the LCI version a day or 2 before the press release. Looks nice.

Yes, true. But the F20 LCI had the118i as a four Cylinder the first months, but will get the Three Cylinder this summer. Anyway, is no objective reason that the 190 PS engine should be four Cylinder. It's heavier, less efficient, more expensive and sounds dull compared to a three.

Curious about the new b58 engine and fuel economy, if it'll be better or the same.
