You don`t need Magisk at all, with the ADB procedure the Unit is already rooted.

I am testing 3.3.8 version of Snapdragon and 191017 MCU and share my experience:

- Bluetooth App. In the PX6 this application was better, it worked simultanety with others apps, in this case the screen only shows Bluetooth app and i can not see nothing. When you are in a call the screen is blocked.

- IDrive control. I can not understand because they don't have solution to control android apps like CARPLAY. I think that it is the most important.

Sometimes I want actual Sound Quality like I use to have from my iPhone via 3.5mm and now I cant.. It stinks if I could just fix the sound quality stuff I could overlook everything... Im a SQ kinda guy and the sound quality issues are my biggest gripe.

Update / Bugfix: Z-Link Adapter Status Handler update ? / i don`t use one , so can`t test
Update / Bugfix: Musiclist / Videolist - Startactivity ? probably the re/autostart feature has been changed.
Update / Bugfix: Serval code changes at ID6/ID7 GUI, but found no optical change
Update / Bugfix: Code changes to Bluetooth app / i don`t use one , so can`t test
Update / Bugfix: lots of Update of Ecar service / useless for us.
Update / Bugfix: new apk, Traceuer.apk, not running, probably for Debugging app ?

Coming soon feature:

It seems there will come a new feature soon which will let you choose the boot behavior, i found the following line

.field public Default_PowerBoot:I

This later does require a new line at factory_config.xml, but found no other code.
Probably there will be a MCU update necessary, no further informations so far.

At the end of this post i added my personally (E90 SD625) modified factory_config.xml which has all text translated, and all known features implemented.
please note that you may change the settings fitting to your car first.
The Password has been changed from 1314 to 0 (zero).
Should also work on F Series.

There is no newer MCU than what you have, 191017, that I'm aware of. I'm sure it will be posted here when anyone gets a newer version.

Maybe lehtee could edit the first post in this thread and list download links for the latest App and MCU?

yeah.. I got front camera installed. it works if I run DVR app.. I thought maybe this would enable this in the main menu (as in ID6).
Also wondering if I increase this one -
