MPPSK dealer software update. Happy!!

Had the dreaded software update yesterday.

But... feels like my car has GAINED power

Although gunshot definitely less and also not as predictable

Other changes; Traction and DSC-off modes both now have exhaust open all the time (like sport). Traction mode now tells me 'steering intervention' is deactivated. That's not something I have on my car..

Anyone else have this?? Or do I have some Frankenstein software on my motor?!

Mine was in for some warranty work.

Others have had a recall or update and found they lost power and the gunshots. Something to do with emissions. Someone here had dyno evidence

Strange, mine pops and bangs far more now than before the update. It's also always opened the valves in traction/dsc off modes. Not had that message thought.

This is for the F30? Must be a UK thing. Though I feel like I have less gunshots than before. Didn't receive any notice.

I have the same when traction is turned off (asbo mode activated)

Mine had it's second (the big one) service back at the end of summer and it's just as lairy now as it was before the service

Had my software update done last week and I've had no reduction in power or noise, haven't noticed the traction control settings yet though so I'll have to try that out
