Rate this deal

So I just swapped out of my current 435 and have decided to switch it up and get a car with some more options and change colors.

The car lists for $61,000.00 They are taking $6,600 off MSRP, plus $500 for USAA. I am not putting a dime down on the car. The lease is $663 a month tax in sign not a dime due at signing and10k miles.

How did I do?

It seems like with those numbers it should be $630 a month with just the first payment due at signing.

6% sales tax only on the payment right?

How are you getting $6600 off MSRP? I live in your area and none of the dealerships are willing to substantially discount a 4 series. What dealer are you working with? I was quoted mid/upper 600s/month on a $46k 428i!!!

I know they aren't. This is why I am getting it shipped in from Tennesee

So I have to pay $600 for shipping, big whoop. Vista quoted me 789 with 2000 down on a car listing for $56k, what a joke.

My last car came from California.

I am just going on your numbers and estimating the amount for registration and fees.

61000-7100= 53900
725 bank fee
500 reg
300 doc
Cap cost $55425
Residual 63%
MF .00130
Payment before tax $594
Add 6% sales tax = around $630

If you add in another $1000 to the cap cost you get to $663

There is also registration for another $100 or so and a $495 dealer fee. Regardless of plugging the numbers in, there is no other dealer on the planet willing to come close to that deal. Dealerships are treating these cars like they are rare pieces of art. Some have told me they are selling at sticker, just crazy! But thanks for checking on the deal for me.

I would say it sounds decent for a 4 series if I read your post correctly.

However, the MSRP on my 335xi, was very close to yours $60305, and Invoice being $55,385. Selling price of the vehicle was $53,942 which includes a $7.20 filing fee. I had to pay $953.00 up front which included my first months payment of 590.13 and usage tax of 362.87. I bought the car out of my county so I had to pay those taxes up front. My total from BMW Financial Service was $53,352.07

They also didnt charge me a delivery fee

My incentives were this..., $500 Drive Credit, $750 Option Credit, $500 USAA Credit, and I believe $1000 Military Credit.

If you already know that then what trying to get out of this thread? A pat on the back for finding a "great deal"? Congrats...you got a great deal. You also got a great deal on the $76 M Performance shift knob/boot. You're good at finding cheap things.

There is value in loyalty, both to a particular dealership and/or a particular CA. There is also value in doing business with the dealership that will be servicing the car.

What's the value in loyalty? Most of the sales / service people change pretty often....

agreed. The dealership I have been loyal to in the past wanted $200.00 more a month for the car. Loyalty is not worth $7200 over 3 years.
