2013 328i xDrive or 335i xDrive?

Read reviews of F30 328i and 335i to help decide which model to purchase. Seems some of the articles rate the 328i as the better handling car over the 335i.

328i:
Better handling
Lower cost
Better gas mileage
Less intrusive cabin road noise

335i:
More horsepower
Slightly faster in straight line
Lower gas mileage
Higher cost
More intrusive cabin road noise

Optioned out with desired specs, the price difference is about $6,500. It seems the 328i is a better handling car. Also the 0-60 time difference seems negligible (maybe .3 sec difference). And the 328i handles significantly better in the twisties.

Looking to optimize the dollar value for entry level luxury sedan with a nice blend of sport, luxury, and touring capable of all season driving.

What is the better value the 328i or the 335i xDrive?

The 335i, IMHO, only appeals to the car enthusiast type. If you;re not that type, then why bother with the added cost? The 328 is a fantastic car and great value/gas mileage. I'd say go for the 328 if you're not super crazy about engine specs, tunes, etc etc

Honestly, Like Ive said previously, the 328 is awesome. The lightness and nimbleness and you cant believe the power coming out of that engine. I'm the opposite of most people here, I almost wish I hadn't test drove the 328 lol

But again for the options I wanted it was another $2300 + Tax for the 335 and I thought hell why not get the 335 since my buddies are driving porsches, audi R8's etc

Yea I hear you.. I couldn't personally care less what my Buddies are driving but this being my first major car purchase , me being 27, married and doing it all myself.. I just couldn't afford the 335i and the gas.. lol... I'm already over budget (nearly 50% more than I was thinking on spending by buying new) but couldn't be happier.. I LOVE the car...

But I'll say one thing for sure.. the 328 can't touch the beautiful soundtrack the 335i produces..
