BMW 435i Coupe (F32) Sport Line Prototype Bares Nearly All Ahead of Launch!
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW 435i Coupe (F32) Sport Line Prototype Bares Nearly All Ahead of Launch! We previously spotted the production 4 Series Coupe (F32) baring it all during a commercial shoot, but this newest sighting gives us the clearest look yet at the prototype F32 still in testing. Previously reveal 4 Series Lines, Options and Packages [see dealer's demo order guide] show that the F32 will come in Luxury Line, Sport Line, and M Sport [see previous M Sport spy pics]. Sport Line The Glacier Silver 435i prototype is a Sport Line model with a sportier front bumper, black high-gloss elements (bumper accents, air intakes, kidney bars, B-pillar trims, and exhaust tips). It's equipped with these optional upgrades: 19" style 407 wheels with mixed performance tires, M Sport Brakes, and LED headlights with squared off corona rings. Per the order guide referenced above, the Sport Line also gets standard sports seats, M sport suspension, anthracite headliner, chrome rings around A/C and radio controls, and sport instrument cluster. Luxury Line The black F32 pictured below appears to be a Luxury Line model, equipped with 18" style 416 wheels. Luxury Line models receive chrome design elements (bumper accents [not shown], kidney bars, exhaust pipe finishers, high gloss B pillar, signature key, and chrome rings around center stack, A/C and radio controls. Models / Schedule The US will get the 428i and 435i coupes, in RWD and xDrive versions. The European model lineup can be seen in this previous post showing VIN model lookup results. The 2014 435i coupe will be powered by the same N55 engine as the current F30 335i sedan (with the same power output) and the 428i is likewise powered by the same N20 engine as the current F30 328i sedan. Production of the 4 Series coupe begins this July and the convertible starts production in November. Stay tuned here, as the 4 Series reveal is coming soon! Every time I see this thing, I can't help but think about how ENORMOUS it appears...maybe it won't be like that in real life, but this baby looks a bit like a whale to me...

Not sure what people don't like. But then again the F30 has grown on me quite a bit to the point that I'm liking the non M-sport models. I think this with M sport will look absolutely fantastic

Hour 1: "I wish BMW went back to its roots! This car is so lame. I'll never buy one"
Hour 2-5: "BMW is totally forging a new path ahead! But steering feel! The horror." Hours 5-infinty: "I'm now acquainted with this picture and it gives me the tingles. I'm buying one." |

I find it intriguing that BMW created a 4 Series segment to distinguish the coupe from the sedan, yet the F32 couple resembles the F30 sedan more closely than the E92 coupe did the E90 sedan.

The car would cost like $80k if they kept it like the prototype. I'm a disappointed as well since there isn't much different from the sedan.

I don't know, the concept 4 series gives me a minigasm every time I look at it, but all the spy shots just don't have the same effect :/ Can't wait till they fully unveil the lines and M-Sport version, hopefully those won't disappoint
