Are the Apex Arc8 wheels for sale? If so, what’s the spec on them.

Unfortunately not. They're going to be transferred over to the new vehicle.

If things change I'll let you know

I'm sure you were behind me a while back whilst heading to Preston; I'd just been to my pals at Grinspeed in Leyland and was heading back home.

Not many 340i's around here!

There's a possibility that could well have been me. Don't really venture out that side of Leyland but do from time to time. Gutted to say goodbye but I didn't take in to account getting a dog and partner in the time since owning it

Haha I'm sure it was you; not many grey 340i's about here!

And yeah; can't see the pooch being happy in the boot

An F31 340i is hell of a car to move on up to!

Well...currently undecided on this right now. I'd love the stick with the 340i touring, but after speaking to the voice of reason I don't think it's the best choice for my lifestyle.

So next choice is downgrade to an F31 320i/330i in Alpine White with Coral Red interior. Better economy for my now much shorter commute, cheaper to buy outright and I'd use some of the money leftover from the potential sale of my 340 for a bit of home improvements over the summer.

Sad to see the B58 go but the B48 isn't one to be sniffed at! Very under-tuned out the factory and plenty of potential to improve whilst also keeping reliability.

I would look in to diesels, but I have such a short commute and I only do a longer motorway drive once or twice a month and I just can't justify it

Sounds similar to me when we were looking Dec 2022

Settled on my F31 325D as just could not find the touring I wanted (petrol) with a good spec; that wasn't either a dog/outright overpriced or far too many miles etc... The 325D ticked the boxes re spec and condition etc

Only did 4k miles in it last year and into early this year; but it does get a good hard run every so often; so it's kept in good shape that way (I change the oil every 6 months too for peace of mind etc)

As you said; the B48s ripe for a decent remap as well
