3M Tape for rear spoiler and front lip
Does anybody have the 3M part number for the double sided tape I need to install the OEM M Performance Rear Spoiler and front lip please?
I don't want to buy the weak a$$ stuff. I want super bond!! |

I just bought the 1/2" 3M tape they sell at AutoZone, it's strong as shit. I can lift up pretty damn hard on the trunk and it's not budging. I really hope no one wants to ever remove that wing.

Is adhesive tape included with the spoiler?
I ordered the M-Performance spoiler from a dealer but wondering if adhesive tape should be on it or not when received? It wasn't specified in the order.

Mine was put on with tape but the tape at the end was exposed and didnt stick correctly. My fault, I thought it wouldnt matter as much as it does.
Not sure my options...I dont feel like removing the whole spoiler. Wish I could just dab some glue there and press down for it to hold? [IMG]  [/IMG] |

I ordered a pre-painted replica one, came with a thin strip of double sided tape already on it. I got the 3M VHB tape, the one rated for 30lbs from Home Depot and added more along the whole length. Be careful as it is indeed strong. Just while trying to line it up properly, it was hard to pull off to adjust it. Used the same on the front splitter instead of the Betalink.
