And it is definitely related to Adaptive Cruise control. So some progress I suppose.

They'll get in touch with me when there is a proper resolution.
Same response got when I had my car in for its service the other day. I just wanted it noted so that should a fix be released when I'm out of warranty, I can still get it done.

Car hit3 years old last Monday, but I've a letter from the local garage saying it will be fixed under warranty when the cure is available.

Did anybody ever get a resolution to this..???

Now the nights are drawing in I noticed that mine did it again the other night... It's just got to the stage where I simply don't notice it half the time...

Nope, given up, had the car nearly 3 years and have ordered my next car now!!

Joking aside it is fucking ridiculous, hopefully the yanks can build cars better than those guys in Munich!

Be interesting to hear what they have to say when it goes in.... still intrigued as to exactly what causes this...

Good to hear. My 330e goes in for some other issues next week so I might add that to the list.

My dealer said there is a new light unit being fitted to the rear passenger compartment, so looks like there is indeed a fix!

I will pick it up tomorrow evening so should be able to confirm whether it works or not this time tomorrow.

One of the reasons that Mrs Tengocity drives that car mostly, and not me. Though I can think of 444 better reasons!

Picked up the car this evening and 1 hour in the car to drive home, using ACC a lot of the way, and no interior light coming on at any time, so looks like it's worked.

It says on my paperwork that the NSR interior light unit was replaced.

Great news! Shame it took so many bloody years though!

Saloons only have a centre rear light though?

Sounds great... Can one of you quiz your dealer to let us know exactly what to tell ours, so that they can get the right bits... Mine just looked blank at me recently when I mentioned this... "book it in, we'll have a look"... Maybe there is a bulletin number we can refer them to..???

Mine is in for this today, as well as low coolant message. Flagged it up for when they do the oil and micro filter service. We will see!

Low coolant message? - it's possible you might not get the car back for a while.
