2013 328i Making Strange Buzzing Sound When Travelling Highish Speeds (VIDEO)

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone here might have ideas as to what is causing the sound heard in the video?

https://youtu.be/I5JtUFHcyu0

It usually only comes up when going 45mph or above, and generally it lasts for up to a minute then stops. It reminds me of putting a card between spikes on a bicycle. It’s only heard coming from the front half of the vehicle, so it’s got to be happening somewhere under the hood.

2013 328i Coupe...
54,000 miles...
NO dashboard warning lights are on when this problem occurs...

Thanks!

It is hard to tell from the video but it could be a loose heat shield in the engine bay or underneath the vehicle near the exhaust pipe.. I would try tapping them with my hand when the engine is cool and see if anything rattles..
