Electric Towbar Coding

Good afternoon,
I want to retrofit the electric trailer hitch, I have the retrofit manual and I'm reading but the coding is not clear to me. Can I code with ista-d or do I necessarily need the esys? has anyone coded? could you explain it?

With ISTA-D surely possible but i would prefer E-Sys because you need to download and install less data.
With E-Sys you have to add the "3AC" to the VO and code the AAG, FEM, REM, ICM, Kombi, HU and DSC with the changed VO.
