RobbDubbs 2019 F31 OEM+ Build

Been a long time BMW enthusiast and finally ordered a full tilt wagon that I have been wanting for the past few years

Took delivery just over a week ago and am loving it more and more as I dial it in. On to the car..

2019 330i xDrive Wagon
Alpine White
Black Dakota Leather w/ Oyster Highlight
Ash Grain Wood Inlay Trim
M Sport Package
Premium Package
Executive Package
Track & Handling Package
Heated Rear Seats
Active Blind Spot Detection
Wireless Charging
Harmon Kardon

While I waited for the wagon to arrive I couldn't help but start ordering parts.. so begin the mods

Current Mods:
H&R Sport Springs
IND painted keyhole cover
IND painted front reflectors
IND red start/stop button and gloss black trim
IND double slat gloss black kidney grilles

With 26 miles on the car I had the H&R sport springs installed along with an alignment

Made use of the wagon's abilities since its feeling like fall lately

After parking with my sister's Tanzanite F80 I had to do something about the factory reflectors as well as the start/stop button install

Hah! Im surprised there aren't more wagon owners

Thanks! Im actually going to go with a quad exhaust tip setup; Found a aftermarket "m performance style" quad tip diffuser on ebay awhile ago.

Great loaded wagon and all but how do you even park in the same driveway as your sisters tanzanite f80 and not feel slightly crazy for spending 60k on a 4 cylinder wagon?

Welcome to the F31 Club, which reminds me I need to start my own build thread. What quad exhaust are you going to go with? And do you have any pictures of the wireless charger I am curious about it's location or if I can retrofit that into my car.

Not at all crazy actually I am plenty pleased with the speed and comfort of the wagon compared to her F80. As far as the price, its everything I wanted factory with the wagon body type

Well, I currently have a brand new F80 non-comp exhaust I have for sale but if it doesn't sell I must just try to make it fit. Otherwise I will go with a muffler delete and quad tip exhaust. From the minimal videos online of the B46 with no muffler it sounds pretty good and not too loud.

It seems the wireless charger can be retrofitted as long as your vehicle has 6NSA the snap in adapter option. The wireless charging base has the same connector as the snap in adapter base. Your local dealer will be able to source the base for you, the base lists for $240.

Grabbed a set of four 15mm spacers from a buddy and it was the perfect amount with these factory wheels; For reference they're 18x8 et34 all around

Thanks!

Well since its xDrive the US only receives a square set up when the track handling package is selected, I believe a 340i rwd with THP will receive the stagger

I am pretty sure all the M-Sport and Track package F30 or F31, xdrive or rwd all comes with staggered wheels and tires. Your front tires in the pics is clearly marked as 225 and rear 255.

Been awhile since I last updated this thread, not much has been done besides enjoying every aspect of this wagon

Went for a cruise up to Palomar Mountain here in San Diego

Coworker ponied up on a new wheel setup so I had to see what they look like
RAYS VOLK RACING TE37SL
18x9.5 et22 275/35R18 Toyo Proxes R88R
18x10.5 et22 295/30R18 Toyo Proxes R888R
In the pictures I only mounted the front two wheels as 10.5 et22 was an insane amount of poke in the rear. If these were about a 32 offset they would fit much nicer

Recently acquired an iDrive controller with ceramic controls out of a G12 and took it apart just for the faceplate of the buttons. Technically all plug and play but it did get a little technical with removing and installing the ribbon cable (did not take any pictures of that but you just have to be careful when pulling up on the cable.) One T20 screw in the dead center under the white sticker was holding the controller knob in place and after that there are a few clips on either side of the button faceplate

Also had to file my wood trim just slightly on the top left corner as now there is a moving part against the wood trim; The factory iDrive controller trim has a fixed plastic surround so no moving parts would interfere with the trim. Possibly not everyone would have this issue but I did just slightly.

Part Number: 65-82-9-459-630
Looks to fit only G11/G12 but I have seen some G01 X3 vehicles with the same style faceplate. The non-ceramic control iDrive controller would work as well, just the center "MENU" button will be black plastic instead.

I will note, I choose not to use the ceramic control knob because I liked the rubber on the factory knob as well as the aesthetics would not flow with the ceramic control knob; Unless of course I choose to swap out the radio button knobs I have seen on another thread. The knob does have a different style mounting so you will have to reuse the entire portion of the ceramic control knob when swapping it over if you desire that over factory.

Little update.. Acquired a set of Style 666M wheels awhile ago and finally mounted tires.

Can assure everyone on here 295/30R20 Michelin PSS do not fit on a stock body

After the test fit fun I mounted the real tire setup on the 666Ms
Michelin Pilot Super Sport
255/35R20 (20x9 et29)
285/30R20 (20x10 et40)

Also got around to installing a set of mudflaps that I had paint matched to go along with the paint matched side skirt extensions.

Brought the wagon down to Socal Euro last month here in San Diego

Also ordered a M3/M4 steering wheel trim front and rear to clean up the factory steering wheel
