Glad it worked. Did you end up using the outer holes on the diffuser? I ended up drilling then out a bit so they align with the bumper holes. Its totally unnecessary but I am way too ocd to leave those holes unused.

Please post pics!
All the holes lined up perfectly when I installed the diffuser. here's the diffuser installed. I'm leaving it matte black

Glad it worked! Looks great! Interesting about the holes lining up. Maybe the holes are placed differently for the 428 versus the 435 version of the diffuser. Are you going to get the front spoiler? Thats next on my list.

The diffuser looks great! I put the 435 version on my 428 and it was one of the best things I've done to my the car thus far.

Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. I really like the look of the car now. Just need to add the front spoiler and the exterior will be done. Xmas wiped me out so need to wait for a bit. I should have gotten my kids the spoiler for xmas! LOL!

Therefore my kids ride their own cars...and no one of them would get my 4, thats for sure
Be patient, in your case its only a matter of time...when the 4 is gone to dust and down, anyone will bring on a real cool spoiler lip for it, no?

yeah once my kids get old enough the Gran Coupe will be gone for sure (as much as I like it now). I will be getting a 2 seater so no one can drive in it but me!

Thank you for the kind words.

I have absolutely no complaints with the KW V1s. I had them on my Audi S5 as well. I think KW got the dampening settings perfect with the V1s for road use. The V1s are firmer but at the same time very usable on normal roads (at least here in SoCal). I thought about getting an adjustable setup like the V2 or V3 or even Bilstein B16s. However, the V1s are just perfect for me and what I want.

Do you know what the part number for these might be, or a pointer in the direction of where I could find them?

M-Performance Right SIll - 51192361680

You should be able to get them from any online BMW source.

Nice. Are you going to paint it or keep it matte black?

The outer holes will appear to not to line up when you first install. Just leave those holes unscrewed screws for a few days and give the diffuser time to mold to the curvature of the bumper. Once the diffuser becomes curved, loosen the screws next to the outer ones, put a little pressure on the ends and the holes will now line up.

While I do not dispute your experience I know that with my 435 diffuser there is no way those holes would line up even if the diffuser "molded" itself to the bumper. When I first installed it, I tried to get the holes to align by pushing very hard on the diffuser. Even though I could get the holes closer to aligning there is no way I could do it without widening the holes a bit with a drill bit. Perhaps your experience is different because the 428 version of the diffuser has the holes in a slightly different place?

I'm pretty sure all the Bav Auto diffusers have the holes in the same places. I know the OCD in you wants to check it out but your telling yourself don't check it out because if I'm right, your going to have to start a new thread on how to fix widened holes. Ha Ha. Let's wait and see what EB F32 says.
