I’ve had Macht Schnell’s on my GT for over 30k and they’ve been solid.

Just got some Apex ARC-8s for my F34 in satin black. Went with a 8.5 square setup and recycled my stock run-flats for now. Gonna buy some nice non-run-flats once I get some miles off of them. Thinking of throwing some 15mm spacers in the rear too.

the exhaust looks nice. much better than the silly stock exhaust which looks wimpy on the big rear bumper.
Hows the suspension setup? Why don't you write up a detailed review in a separate thread if you have the time.

Thanks KRS, I can't seem to share the link on my phone but the post exists in a recent new thread on the F34 part of the forum if you can find it? I will add more to this when I've settled the suspension and get realignment done.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm reading so many mixed reviews about spacers in general it's making me not want to take the risk :

How hard was the install? It seems like I would need to reapply the emblem piece by piece rather than it being on a foam piece where I can take the cover off the adhesive and slap it on without it looking crooked. Or does it come pre-aligned with foam guides? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the letters do come 'detached'. What I did find was, even after you really clean the area where the old lettering was... it still leaves a vague outline when you look at it from the side, at an angle basically. I used that to line up the G and then the T became easy. Paste it lightly in the beginning, don't press on it until you step back and make sure it's straight... then you can still adjust it if needed, before applying firm pressure.

I also took a picture of the rear for reference before starting.

Are these made specifically for f34? How's the ride and handling? I know in general it's a real nice setup but haven't seen any about them on the gt

So it's been a few mos and I actually made some changes. Went with the 440i exhaust taken off 440i almost new. No issues with fitment whatsoever. Had to cut the right side of the bumper for the 2nd pipe, and no issues there either. Here's a pro tip (well, pro, as in standing there watching the exhaust guy do it...lol): Use a template, make one if needed, and don't use Dremel or grinding type cutting tool. Use a blade (box cutter etc). Also use a pair of pliers to hold and manipulate the bumper as you cut - the cut line is much much smoother. Anyways, there will be a couple of issues when going with x40i exhaust from the F34 328i - the muffler pipe from the x40i will be bigger in dia than the midpipe going into the muffler (on the car once you cut the old muffler). So you'll need a sleeve and weld. The other issue is on the other end with the tips: you'll need longer tips - much longer, like 9" more in order to achieve the right look under the bumper. Plus for me, I have to find a particular type of tip - the Y-type but with the straight side on the inside. Haven't been able to find it yet.

But if you overcome those 2 things the sounds coming from the back end is strong and smooth. You can even get some burbles without bootmod3 in sport and sport+ modes. Driving around town and running hard in between high-rise buildings just got more fun again.

Lastly, just had to raise the Bilstein PSS4 back up about 3/4" again. Still trying to find that sweet spot. Anyways, keep me posted if you do the exhaust, unless you've already gone that way.

Nice stance. Quick question: Are you on 19"s and what's the height from ground to fender lip ft/rr? If you don't mind the take the measurement. I'm on the PSS4 with 19s and I'm right at 26.5" gtl.

Finally added a cf lip and splitter. Always debated going the splitter route since I feel like it hides the original aggressive bumper lines. Still on the fence.

Tried a bunch of cosmetic mods and wrapping various parts, black grills, but settled on a simple v-brace wrap with the standard chrome grill and blacked out emblems on the back:

(Edit: added a photo of the back too!)

It was pretty simple! Fitment fairly good on the splitters, the lip was almost 100% perfect.

Here's a shot from today
