Know anything about BMR Performance Lorcan? They are down south (near Gatwick) and have started offering ACS parts? Are they an official partner?

Hi Lorcan - is the demo car getting anywhere near the East Midlands at any point?

I've got a standard (ie no springs etc) 435dx and would be interested in seeing how much difference the springs and dampers makes.

Cheers

Lorcan,
Which N. Ireland dealers have fitted AC sports suspension? I have a 100k miles 335d f31 with adaptive, I have been driving a 320d f31 msport due to the EGR fiasco and it handles so much better than mine!
I know when I eventually get the 335d I won't be happy with the standard suspension and reckon I should upgrade now as I plan to keep the 335d for another 3 years.

Thanks

Not sure yet as the car might be sold. People keep driving our demo cars and our car sales department can't say no!

Not sure we've sent any sports kits out that way but Prentice, JKC and Country Garage have all fitted spring kits and the procedure is the same.

With that age and mileage though I think I'd be looking for a good independent as most likely there will be something seized.

Lorcan - will the demo car get any other ACS parts if you keep it? I’m keen to see some ‘subtle’ aero mods with those wheels.

This one won't, we only put it together to demonstrate the sports suspension. Unless someone buys it and wants those things added of course.

Anybody installed these on an xDrive? Any long term review/experience? I've never seen any member mention these on the forum, only the Bilstein+Eibach kit gets mentioned.

Had these fitted on my car for 11months. I have done 15,000 miles on them. I had the ACS springs first but decided the dampers would fully complement the ride.

I must say the ride and feel is fantastic. Ditched the run flats fairly shortly afterwards and that also made a big difference.

I certainly believe its well worth the upgrade.

Hope it helps. Happy to provide any more info.

How it’s been with the splitter? Are you on 19’s too?

Sorry for the late reply. Splitter had been fine. Just remember to reverse into spaces with curbs.

Scrapes on occasion with aggressive drives, but speeds humps are no issues.

I think the splitter properly sets off the front.

I wonder why these haven't been so popular, they don't even come up in any suggestions or options on the forum. The forum members only like Bilstein and Koni dampers. I ended up with KW V1.
