Let's be fair here my MPPSK traps 110-112 mph on 87-88 octane.

Don't you think with a full 100 HP more it couldn't trap 118 mph?

I am just surprised how a 450 HP car weighing only 1615 kgs couldn't trap 118 mph specially as mentioned my MPPSK traps 112 mph on crap fuel and poor traction.

The M240i is lighter than the 340i by only 70 kgs so that shouldn't make a big difference.

Just because it's fresh on my mind from watching this over the weekend, here's a video to illustrate my point.

1/4mile trap:136
Roll racing trap: 136, can't even break 140

So again, your quarter mile times don't translate. Your assumptions don't translate. They didn't race in Egypt, they raced in California on California fuel. You're saying what you think should happen even though a video shows that it's not always the case. You can keep beating the dead horse if you want but at the end of the day, it happened. Sorry you can't deal with it, but physics don't need you to agree for it to be real.

You guys have more track data than me so I am not doubting your findings.

I am just surprised how an extra 100 HP (30%) can't get an extra 5 mph even according to physics.

Realistically you'd want the temps to be in the 20s and DA between 1000-2000 to simulate real drag strip conditions.

Colder temps and negative DA is basically cheating

And this is st2+ 505 crank but car dies in top end but u see in hotter temps and higher DA car cant beat its best time with 50hp more so it depends on too much factors....on the street though things is little bit different

I think that's a realistic result of 340i stage 2 vs Stock Supra.
