Gloss black front end
Has anyone gone ahead and made the grill in front of the inter cooler and fog lights gloss? My kidneys are gloss and I'm gonna get a gloss black front lip... think it may look better if the grills were black too. Pics appreciated.

I asked my paint guy about it when he was painting my front bumper and he advised against it. That area gets hit by so many little rocks and road debris that it will begin to chip and show.
I personally used flat black plastidip on mine to make it a little darker

As the parts are a soft plastic, I was told that the paint would not stick as well and road debris would chip it easily as opposed to the color the plastic currently is. At the time xxxjecxxx2 was going to go ahead and paint his anyway. I had forgotten to check with him a year later to see how they were holding up. |

I was thinking about doing this as well. Maybe a fresh coat of black plastidip then a few coats of the plastidip glossifier would get you there without having to worry about chipping?
The issue is that the glossifier still wont get you close to a true gloss clear coat so maybe it will look even worse.... hmmmmm |
