Windshield glass surface chip - best chip "heal" idea?
Just today an a-hole truck kicked up a rock that hit my windshield. The glass surface now has a small chip that is thankfully not a crack, but it does show up in the glass view and is about a hair-width deep in a 1/4 inch circle.
Any suggestions on some liquid healing kit that would: 1. prevent it from spreading 2. make it fully transparent again

I have had a similar sized chip in my windshield for about two years now and it hasn't grown at all through several rough winters and summer hail seasons. These windshields are pretty tough, so it may not need to be dealt with at all if you don't mind it being in your vision.

Thank you. Agree, less likely for it to spread. It's more like it bothers me since it's right in the path of view. So any repair would be primarily cosmetic. I am looking at Permatex Windshield repair based on Project Farm and other reviews.

I got a smaller chip in the bottom left side and wasn't so lucky - it took a day to grow 5 inches, and a week later a quater of the windscreen. You could try the below link, or some insurance companies may cover free chip replacement.
