The tires on xDrive models should have the same circumference. There are several threads on this topic in the forum. If you have questions, the team at TireRack is always helpful.

The base suspension on your xDrive vehicle may not tolerate 20 inch wheels well, especially if the new wheels are substantially heavier than the current ones. Compare the weight before purchasing.

BMW offers staggered wheel configuration on xDrive models. My vehicle is 2013 BMW 335i xDrive sedan ordered with 19" 401 Style wheels and staggered tires. The key is maintaining the same circumference on front and rear tires from day one.

You can use tire calculators to determine the overall diameter of your wheel and tire. Please see link below.

http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee...cl=50mm&sr=0mm

245/30/19 and 295/25/20 for 8.5 and 10-10.5 wide setup has less than a 1% difference in overall diameter. 2058mm for fronts, and 2059mm for rears.

***Typo Correction - 245/30/20

As a reference point - OEM 19" wheels / tire sizes on 2013 BMW 335i xDrive sedan:

Front: 225/40-19
Rear: 255/35-19

Correct. Then you can compare front and rear specs by scrolling below.

More then one typo in this post.

Staggered diameters front to rear isn't common, even though it's possible.

245/30-20 and 285/25-20 has matched diameters, 255/30-20 and 295/25-20 match as well.

However those sizes are a bit wide for F30.

I would recommend a square setup:
8.5x20, 245/35-20

For x-drive, yes, you need to check the overall diameter.
