Rim/tire flip 535 to 435

Looked for some info but couldn't find any solid answers. Currently have a 2011 535i and may possibly trade for 2014 435i coupe this summer. Have a set of VMR710s 9x20 w/255-35-20 and 10x20 w/295-30-20. Tire diameter is 27.1 front and 27.0 rear with 35 offset on all four rims. Just curious if these will swap over to the 435i without rubbing issues. Another member has a 435 with 255s up front and 275s rear and has no problems. If I have to swap the 295s for 275s or 285s that would be okay. Would love to keep the rims if possible, only about 6000 miles on them and no curb rash. Doubt very much they will fit but doesn't hurt to ask. Any advice from tire gurus in the know would be appreciated. Thanks.

Those sizes will not work.

255 could fit up front but with 30-profile, i.e. 255/30-20.

295 rear is also too wide, I would say the limit is 285.

245/30-20 and 285/25-20 will be ok, 245/35-20 and 275/30-20 as alternative, with wheel offsets made for F30/F32.

But the biggest concern with those wheels isn't the tire sizes but the rear offset. With 10x20" ET35 the tires needs to be stretched to avoid rubbing.

With the wheel spec given I would say that 245/30-20 front 255/30-20 rear could be worth trying, more tire widths than that will most likely cause rubbing (at least at the rear wheels).

Thanks for the info, I knew it would be too good to be true for a straight swap. The 295s are huge and fit pretty snug on the 535 so that was a long shot. I would rather pay for a new set up that is correct instead of forcing a set of rims to save some cash. Thanks again.
