Wow. I loved how straight and to the point your video was.

You also captured pretty closely how it sounds in person, what'd you use to record?

Dont think VRSF makes catted DPs? Too lazy to search and the turbo spool is pretty loud so most likely catless

Hey! I'm new here. Is it only the muffler upgrade or with the mid pipe too?

Just the muffler. Cut the stock pipe at the dimple near the rear axle, and bolt up the new one with a clamp. Very simple job

Anyone else notice how exhaust coming out of the left pipe is cold or luke warm while the exhaust out of the right pipe is as expected hot?

Also, I left the valve open for a week expecting both pipes to now have soot, but my left pipe remained exactly the same, very weird and annoying as i have one pipe permanently black and the other is more or less clean.

Edit: video added for relevance.

Do these exhaust point down to you?
Seems like the bigger tips make it look like they are angled down.

My MPE tips point straight out. It can vary though, depending on how well whoever installs it gets it lined up.

I payed $800 shipped for mine new from a dealer in 2017. Through eBay.

But if you want used, you should be able to find a used one on here or eBay for < $600

Would you say the mpe is worth it for a 428? Can you hear it from the inside of the car?

Yes and yes. You can hear it inside the car, but not too too much, at least if I remember correctly how it sounded before I put my downpipe in. I remember being very happy with it though, and I've always recommended it

I found it to be too quiet, inside and out, granted my car is N26 which is a bit quieter then the normal N20 because of the extra cat.

I'm just trying to determine if it's worth the 700$ plus? I can't decide if I should just leave it alone or buy the exhaust

Its a definite improvement over stock, no doubt. Try it and if you dont like it resell it, theres always someone looking for a used one.

It took me an hour in my garage. I would try it yourself, but if you're really not comfortable with that, $200 seems reasonable, but not exceptional.

Its super simple, should take no more than 45m at a shop, or an hour or two on your own. 100$ should be more than enough to cover installation costs at a shop.

Had mine installed last Friday at my preferred indie shop in ATL. 1 hour of work $110. Definitely worth it. Can hear it faintly with the windows up.

Looking at it throughout the weekend, I think I may want to adjust it a little myself....sits out a little more than I like.
