BM3 Transfer?
Can i transfer my BM3 license, even though car is long gone?
I'd hate for it to go to waste if someone else could use it. Thanks!

I had the OTS bundle, does that get transferred as well, or just 1 map?

You must flash DME to stock before you can transfer your licence... so if the car is gone, and you didn't reflashed back to stock... no luck :/
After transfer, 2nd user get's only 1 map. |

I'll be honest - I'm not sure if I flashed back to stock or not - I think I did though.
How can that be determined?

You can ask PTF guys. Or you can check if you log in to you http://www.bootmod3.net/ account and see on My Maps tab which map is flashed last. It should have blue box on it with text "Last Flash"

Ohh and I just remembered, you'll need to use "FLASH AND RELOCK DME" option from Stock Tune ...

Then post it for sale and the buyer can confirm with PTF before transfering money.

I have no idea how a transfer is done but I've reached out to PTF.
Does it need to be an N20? Or same car? How is the transfer done?

Nice, and no it does not need to be N20, just reach out to PTF saying that you wan to transfer your licence and you'll need a VIN from new owner. But first confirm that transfer is possible.

So would this transfer to B48 320i? Did you say you have the OTS bundle? In that case would all the of the other maps (stage 2 etc) transfer too?

Good news - my license is transferable!
But transfers come with 1 map. This 1 map still gets updates and you can always flash back to stock - so if you know you'll be stage 1 you don't really need the bundle. You can always adjust the burble and boost settings on your 1 map. And it comes with the transmission tune too.
