Has anyone tried 335/340 dinan springs on 328?

All - may sound odd; but, I have a high mileage 328i x drive m sport and I am contemplating purchasing secondary dinan springs which are for the 335/340 x drive bc they are a very good price ($120 for full set front and rear) and I don’t want to put too much more $ into it but figured at this price it’s worth a shot. I called Dinan today to see if they would fit and they confirmed that they should but given that the 335/340 is heavier, may impact ride height and stiffness. My guess is that the result will be slightly higher ride height and a stiffer feel given that the springs designed for slightly heavier 335/340. Wondering if anyone has tried this and if so your experience? Also any concerns from the group?

if your vehicle is high mileage, i'm assuming your shocks have a lot of miles on them too? you're playing with fire putting lowering springs and not changing your shocks if so. you may blow them out completely and hate driving the car. just food for thought.

I just recently replaced both front struts and mounts, so they should be good for the front. Fair point about the rears. I was thinking of starting with the front to see how it goes then if all goes well do the rears and to your point should do the shocks also.
