You want it with red circle or white square?

The bimmer8 unit i have shows MPH with white square on both cluster and HUD. If you want MPH but red circle contact the ebay seller.

Bimmer8 do it with Euro red circle and MPH if you ask them.

Get the bimmer8 and trust me on this. I tried other chinese ones and they all had issues with Usa standards.

And it's cheap!!!! Hurry before they raise price mate.

Ok last question guys. Is the square one the standard "look" you see if you actually have the option in your BMW for for the US? I'm just asking as I want to make it look as OEM as possible. I like the circle for the minimalistic look but if it is not the OEM look for the US then I'll go with the square. Thank you.

As you may know, the US speed signs are originally squared and so are the display, its 1:1.
Roundels are only for Europe or fans of the circled one signs.

No. It needs VO coding (so esys is required)

Are you referring to Kafas2 camera mounted on windshield or camera on back of the rearview mirror?

If u r referring to Kafas2 camera, then you need to VO code 8TH option and also need an FSC code. So yes you need esys.

If u r referring to rearview mirror camera, then there is no way you can enable SLI without emulator. Based on my experience emulator don't need VO coding. I used bimmercode and did FDL coding directly and it worked.

In my drive I don’t get the option to change from kph to mph. Can this be coded?

I can change other values just not the speed one

Apparently you can switch the speed one in certain cars

I got the Taiwanese Bimmer8 emulator. I did the following coding with Bimmercode:
SPEEDLIMIT_INFO = Aktiv
HUD_CB_SPEEDLIMITINFO = Aktiv
Couldn't find any other parameters listed by the seller.
I got the options to turn on SLI on HUD and Instrument display in iDrive display settings, I checked both options however nothing showed up on either HUD or dash, not even the three dashes.
Anyone have an idea what's going on? Thanks!
