Coilover + Coded EDC?

Hi guys, so i recently bought a 340i X drive 2018. I've ordered a bilstein b14 coilover kit. On my car i have the EDC. Didn't want to spend 3k on a suspension setup to decided to coded it. Now my question is, do i need to unplug the EDC system in the trunk? or can i just keep this like that because the car is coded?

If anyone here have done this before and go help me

Thanks!
