how much ethanol can i use in a full tank
My car has a custom tune ( bootmod3 ) currently using 100 octan fuel mixed with 5% ethanol ( effective 101 octane ). if i use the Ethanol calculator i can use 10 gallon 98 gasoline and 2 gallon Ethanol it gives me 101 octane ( E20 Mix )
Do i have to ask for a new map ? or can i use a E20 mix without retune

If it's not tuned for e20 it's going to cause your fuel trims to go too high.... Potentially too high to compensate for the tune, and will probably rob some power and cause misfires.
If it's a custom tune, stick to what your tuner tuned for |

Do not trust any calculator that tries to apply an octane rating to a fuel mix. It is not the same.
