Bootmod + iOS 15 not connecting?

Anyone else experience this? I downloaded the new iOS and now my bootmod won't connect through Ethernet. App says no vehicle detected.

Seems like the app doesn't work with iOS 15 yet, so don't upgrade iOS if you need to flash.

I had the problem while I was on beta but now that I'm on the iOS 15 Stable release, it works fine.

I had the problem while I was on beta but now that I'm on the iOS 15 Stable release, it works fine.

What wasn't working for you? My app was/is working, the problem is that the app wouldn't connect to the car through Ethernet.

From what I have read from other Mac forums/reddit: iOS 15 seems to have broken the ethernet function. Has yet to be fixed in 15.1 beta. I cannot connect for bimmercode via ethernet either. work around is that this seems to be isolated with iOS and not iPadOS so if you have one of those, you could still use ethernet

Lol yea I used my kid's iPad mini but would like a better permanent option.

Most definitely, I want to code some things but now stuck waiting to see if its fixed. I guess alternatively, I could spring for those bluetooth adapters but not an ideal situation

Same issue here, was going crazy trying to figure out why it wasn’t connecting anymore. Will have to use my son’s iPad mini as well LOL

I'm connecting wirelessly; maybe that's the difference?

iOS 15 cannot connect to ethernet with lightning adapter. It is an issue with software on Apple's side. Apple is aware of the issue and is working on a fix to be released in the next update.

Good thing I hopped on the 3 series B58 boards! I've been having the same issue since I updated to IOS 15 as well. Had to use an old Iphone to flash. Ethernet through lightning port still doesn't work for me. I hope Apple fixes the issue soon.

iPadOS 15.1 with usb-c works fine ?

Use a laptop or get a Wi-Fi adapter to flash.

Apple in ios15 is only allowing certified Ethernet adapters work. I think the only one is a $100 belkin. No one knows if they will “fix” the issue to re-allow non certified Ethernet adapters to work.

There's a $20 MFI certified adapter I picked up from Amazon that works. There's a few of them out there now for way less than the Belkin one.
