Hello, For sale I have a complete B16 Damptronic coil over set. PN 49-255935. I ran them on my F30 for six months and only 2500 miles. (Covid had me working from home, kids at home, and no sports to drive them to). These plug into the factory adaptive set up and change dampening profiles like the factory shocks via the in car control. No additional switches or app to deal with. I really liked how the car drove but the family hated it on longer drives. Unfortunately my car has to serve dual purpose for another year and a half till my wife's lease is up and she gets a bigger car. So I put the stock adaptive shocks back on and will enjoy the "float" for now. Everything is included. The only minor issue is one of the black covers where the wires go into the shock body from a front strut was cracked in the initial shipment. I reached out to Bilstein and they said those are just there to protect the shocks during shipping and not necessary after installing. They don't even have them as a replacement part so they wouldn't even send one out on my dime. I kinda liked the added protection for when I was working on the car or something so I wrapped it with some electrical tape to keep form to pop on when I took the wheels off. Everything is boxed up in the original packaging and ready to go. $1300 plus shipping. PayPal for payment and only to the lower 48. Local pick up is welcome. Please PM me if interested. Thank you! |

Will it fit 2016 328i with m sports suspension?

I assume you could but then there is no way to change the dampening rates. Not sure which dampening profile it would default to either. If it's the softer setting of the two I don't think that would be the end of the world cause I used that 99% of the time. It's very close to factory sport for the m adaptive (rwd).

Wish I could figure out what the difference was between AWD and RWD versions of this, as I would need AWD.

I am not entirely sure what the exact differences are, but it's significant enough that every shock or coil over system I looked at had a rwd and a awd version for the f3x cars. Springs can be different part numbers and not optimal across rwd vs awd, but will technically fit. I don't think shocks/struts fall into that category.
