I am new to this site & hoping to gain info on the listed vehicle.

I am currently looking at purchasing this car with 27K miles - any related issues or challenges that you may share would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on such a nice find!

Most of the biggest items are covered or have been covered by recalls/extended warranty.

Use quality fuel from a reliable fuel station and do the normal maintenance, and drive happily.

The diesel is not suited to city stop and go driving. The emission system is less troublesome with rural and interstate driving speeds with sustained higher speeds.

Have had my 2018 F31 CPO "diesel" for almost 2-years. It's a forever. keeper! At 31k-miles, per "Fuelly," I'm getting 37mpg overall ($0.07/mile) and 41+mpg on the interstate. No issues, whatsoever! Don't care for the runflat tires but a change-out is less than a year out. Love the torque. a great highway cruiser and great hauling capability. Do it!

Strongly concur. I bought a 2017 F31 last year and put around 50k miles on it already. The only problem was a small leak in the running gear found by the dealer and fixed under CPO warranty.

Averaging around 43-45 mpg depending on season. Also strongly agree with the poster who said highway/interstate driving, as apposed to city driving, is best.

There is something I can't put my finger on that is uniquely satisfying about driving these cars. Get it, drive it, and enjoy!

55-70 mph is city driving around here.

Nothing wrong with some stop and go either.
All direct injection cars need to have an Italian tuneup now and again, diesel or not makes no matter.

Mine pulls like a train - it makes me wonder if we'll see a "diesel electric" ever! Works for Union Pacific!

I love the car and never tire of looking at it on "detail" day after I've finished it. A fresh set of Michelins and I'm a happy camper!

You'll be happy (or jealous) to hear that the newest B47 powered diesel BMWs in Europe will come in mild hybrid versions.

I average around 22mph city driving in Los Angeles County. My intake was replaced under a recall and it was packed full of carbon buildup. So basically I should have got a gasoline version, but I agree there is something special about the feel of the 328d. I just drove to Palm Springs and averaged 38mpg on the highway.

Color me green with envy! I think the diesel BMW crowd is a unique subset of BMW enthusiasts. When I was young, our first BMW was a 1982 328i and I liked the sportiness of the marque back then. I still appreciate the gas and hybrid versions but really enjoy my 328d Touring. I'd seriously consider the diesel hybrid if they could sneak in a model or two into the USA!

True, but if you do once a week long distance with greater speeds, it will do.
