Small Vibration - normal driving

I've had some small vibration feel for some time now, brakes have been done, suspension checked.

Could it be something as simple as wheel balancing.

Its very subtle, hardly noticable but i know its there.

Is it there constantly or just when you get to certain speeds? certain speeds would typically indicate it's a balancing issue.

Had my wheels balanced. Slight improvement but still there. Seems to be that the suspension is just too hard and road imperfection is felt. When i put it in sport mode its terrible.

Next step is to ditch the run flats, but before my discs were done it never felt like this.

I hope the hub surface was thoroughly cleaned before discs fitted this could cause a run out. Also make sure wheels are torqued to the correct torque.

Yes brakes are perfect. When i originally fitted discs myself i can't have clean the hub properly which manifested in the discs making they feel warped - they weren't.

I am also ditching the run flats, hopefully will make the ride much better.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

At low speed over uneven ground seems to be the worst. Like a gravelled area - feels like the wheels are going to fall off!

We need more detail. Wheel size, tyres/condition, suspension option, etc.

Low speed... doesn't fit with wheel balance or typical driveline vibrations.

Standard wheels and tyres - run flats

Adaptive suspension standard. Control arms checked etc

Alignment done by bmw, wheels balanced

New discs and pads. This only seemed to start after I did the discs the first time which subsequently warped

How many miles have you done, and is it x-drive? Could be prop shaft guibo?

It’s RWD

Could it be wheel bearings ?

Your sequence of events (new discs) and the current low speed feeling, does hint at something adrift with the suspension. Are you sure the front tension struts, or control arms are not showing softness or wear in the bushings. Possibly disturbed when jacked up for the disc change. At 111k miles wouldn't be surprised, unless parts already changed.

Yeah that’s what’s I’m thinking. It was fine until the discs were initially changed.

I’ll get them to check again
