calling all F36 owners! what's your suspension setup??

Hey everybody, I’m still pretty new to all this so please bare with me!

I have a 2020 F36 440i xdrive Grand Coupe. It’s sitting a little high and I’d love to hear what other people have found works best. I’d like to safely avoid any rubbing when fully locked, so just a subtle adjustment. Also interested is wheel spacers, just to push my 225/40ZR 19 and 225/35 ZR 19 tires ever so slightly out.

Here’s how it looks currently. Just added the M Performance package and tint🤘

Eibach Pro-kit springs together with Koni SA (red) shocks. Simply lovely! No xDrive though.

Cool thanks for the suggestion! Will the xdrive matter you think? Do you have any pictures of what that looks like? Have you looked into wheel spacers at all?

My F36 xdrive with Eibach 05-22 springs. Adaptive suspension as well. Love the look.

On my F36 435iX, with the staggered 19” 442Ms, I found 12.5mm front and 18mm rear spacers worked nicely. The 4-series Xdrive has a slightly narrower rear track than non-Xdrive, so IMO, the 18mm works better than 15mm there.

This is with the m performance suspension, or "MPS" as you may see it referred to. It's a nice kit that provides a lot of the ancillary things like bolts, nuts, top hats, etc. The drop is very slight but quite tasteful. Around town, it's a bit too firm for my liking but it's perfect at or above highway speeds. Like aesthetics, suspension feel is subjective. The twenty year old me would not have had any issue with the low speed firmness.

Sure, here’s a shot showing OE wheel flushness with these spacers…

(BTW, in case anyone’s interested, my set of these Renn Motorsport spacers plus their matching extended lug bolts, plus extended wheel locks, are available since I don’t use the OEM wheels any longer. PM me for info on the set if interested.)

Here is some picks of my RWD 440i on:
KW V3 clubsport
Runing these wheels and tires:

FRONT
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/35 ZR19 93
Concaver CVR1 19x8,5 ET35-45 BLANK Carbon Graphite PCD: 5x120; ET: 35

REAR
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/35 ZR19 98Y
Concaver CVR1 19x9,5 ET35-45 BLANK Carbon Graphite PCD: 5x120; ET: 45

It is quite a firm setup for street, perfectly doable if you tolerate a firmer ride. First time with my girlfriend in it, after I swapped it from the m sport 704m suspension, she was like: “am I suppose to go around jumping like this now?” I said “yep xD”. I daily drive it, she got used to it and doesn’t complain att all, so it’s all good.

However it really shines on track! Car in planted, feels great and with the camber plates, rebound and compression settings at hand, it’s a great tool for tracking!
