Hey whats up guys just wondering if anybody in the 209 area or close to sacramento would be down to go to Sac raceway lol. So far sspade and maybe some others are down to go lol if you run 13's though even high 13.9 you will need a helmet but you can rent one their as well.

I believe it's Wednesday and Saturday but Saturday theirs way less people and you have to pay 50$ drag I think not entirely sure

Im down. Ill be honest though... not that interested in running in 100 degree heat. Ill go for moral support anytime but probably wont run until the weather cools off.

Also would like to get tuned before I run.

I just have a K&N drop-in and JB+, but I mirror sspade's sentiment, with AAT's in the high 90's/low 100's, turbo cars are going to start heat-soaked and only perform worse with time. Could still be fun though!

Man i am still waiting for my refund to go through for my VRSF charge pipe not fitting. I thought i'd have my ER charge pipe by now but im still waiting for word back.

Yep car is running good! This Sat is open test and tune at Famoso so i'm taking my 5yr old son, it's his first time at the drag strip

How's the DA up there in Sac? Current weather forecast is low 80's for Famoso this Sat and dry weather so i am hoping i can knock about three tenths off my 13.9 run. It's not uncommon for us to get shitty 2000+ DA on days when the weathers hot.

Density Altitude.
In a nut shell its how much air is in a predetermined area. Higher DA is equal to going up in altitude where the air is thinner (Less dense).The thinner the air the less oxygen molecules there are available to mix with the fuel which will result in engines making less power/ running slower times.

Higher DA= less available oxygen molecules for combustion. Engines make less power/ vehicles run slower times.
Lower/negative DA= greater number of oxygen molecules available for combustion. Engines make greater power/ vehicles run faster times.

On the East Coast they get like negative 2500 DA which would be like running your car 2500ft below sea level..They run crazy times due to these DA's..

Assuming these conditions will improve as we get into fall? Anyone know, Im not sure just guessing?

That's the site i use to check the tracks around here too. Look's like you are going to have some great days there soon! The DA here at Famoso is starting to get down to around 1500ft in the evenings but during the day it's still around 2500+...sucks. I'll be happy with anything under 1000ft.
