MPE - M235i Vs 335i/435i

my question is not regarding fitment but more towards sound. Which one sounds louder or are they the same?

Very similar if not the same!

Get one that fits your car. The little difference will definitely not be worth the cutting, welding, and the continues adjusting.

There are two versions of the M Performance exhaust. A loud and quiet one. Two different part numbers too if I remember correctly.

That’s a myth. A lot of these videos for both versions were recorded with the car revving while the valve wasn’t fully open.

Actually he's not wrong, there are 2 different part numbers for the 335i/435i, one ends in 340 and other is like 339 or something but search the forum about it. I believe one was made for EU and the other for NA

but the M235i MPE is something completely different than the 2 mentioned above.

Yes, there are different part numbers. I'm talking about a sound difference between the two .

I did alot of research before buying my MPE and went with the most recent version for the tips.

I know they sound the same because mine sounds like the "bad one" when I rev it while the valve is closed.

It’s not a myth. Quite well documented. I have had both versions. Part ending in 340 is the louder version.
