You can use the f32 bumper if you also change to the 4 series headlights.

I like that. However i would have thought the bonnet and side fenders would also need replacing. Similar to the m3 as it has slightly different headlight design and so all the panels that meet the headlights need to be changed

I will do some research with part numbers, what I know for sure is the hood is the same, as for fenders I'll verify, but from the Pic these are f30 fenders

Here is the conversion :

May be the only one. My BMW "F37" https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1330524

That is one sick build. I read through the entire thread and im sure he mentions f32 hood. But then he lists parts and doesnt list it. Anyway i posted a question.

Im curious if the mounting points line up so its a easy swap. Or im wondering it requires extra bits and bobs from the f32 to mount

If this just needs headlights then this is no different to a m3 style bumper upgrade. Headlights being the only additional cost

Yes if it's headlights, grill, bumper it's a pretty simple swap.

You will recuperate money from selling your original parts as well.

right so real OEM states that the part numbers for the hood on a F30, F32 and F36 is the same #41007290944. Which is great

However part numbers for the side fenders are different for F30, F32 and F36. Even between the f32 and F36 its a different part number. I would have though they would be the same between a f32 and a f36 at least

That guy doesn't mention changing the side fenders. im skeptical.

So here is another sick built I found.

The fenders seem to be different, the angle in the front is slitely different. Here is what I was told.

So to make it work you will need to cut and reweld the fender, you'll need just the front portion from an f32. Scrap yard will probably do.

Hmmm if thats the case its not a simple job and just got a lot expensive.

So the one guy says welding and another guy says the opposite and they both have done the same f32 retrofit.

People probably have different ways to get it done!

As for me I'm sold on this one.

My plan is to use:
F32 headlights
F32 bumper
F80 fenders (already figured out how to line up the fender to bumper)
F30 hood.

I've found custom 2" flares for the rear and I'm already working on a custom rear bumper.

So at the end it's a widebody f30 but not an f80 clone.

That will be epic. Thats why i was so wanting a f32 bumper instead of the m3 look bumper.

Keep us posted how you make the side fenders work. The fenders is the last piece of the puzzle.

Simply put the 4 series is a wider car than 3 series!
You will need fenders, hood, lights grills, bumper and possibly the radiator support to align everything up. If you want that look get the new M3 rep bumpers they have with wider side vents. Looks close to it and fits well.

We know for a fact the hoods are the same. Same part number. Possibility the fenders to from f30 will work based on the first link build but not confirmed for sure

Holy smokes! That's a great find and looks really good! What if your F30 has no foglights? I think some with the adaptive M-suspension (I believe) are missing them.

That's awesome, but do any of the F32 lip options fit it?
