That should be it unless there is damage to the car or tires that must be replaced.

I'm looking to see what fees would be due if I turned my lease in early?

I have the Owner's Choice, and it matures on November 29, 2017. I won't be leasing or financing another BMW, so for example, let's say I turned my car in this month. Would the amount due just be the remaining 3 payments, plus the disposition fee of $350? Or are there extra fees for terminating the lease early?

Thanks in advance!
Justin

Thanks! I think I'm good on that. Windshield and tires were replaced earlier this year. No dents or noticeable scratches.

I have done it many times...

Like you said.. remaining payments and disposition fees - no early termination fees.

Make sure you get a lease return inspection nonetheless... Dont just turn it in.. its a way to protect yourself from damage the dealership may create while sitting and waiting to be dispositioned.

Has anyone personally dealt with an early lease termination because of an unforeseen military deployment? I read through my lease contract a couple times and didn't see any specific language regarding this unique situation.

Could anyone provide insightful advice? Or am I strictly bound to the lease contract? I'd prefer to fulfill and complete the terms of the lease honorably, but can't see the sense in paying for the lease while out of the country for an unknown amount of time. If it helps, I'm almost halfway (it'll be exactly 18-months later this month) through my 36-month lease term.

Thanks!

Edit: Yes, I would be protected via the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. I was curious how the process works on the BMW end or, if necessary, how to initiate the process? Call BMWNA and go from there?

I can't answer your direct question. I would try calling BMWNA. The other option would be to find a willing party to take over the lease. Lease transfers can be pretty painless via BMW.

Considering my options as my lease matures in about 7 weeks. Been talking to a few BMW dealerships about the possibility of leasing a new car. One dealer told me there were tax savings by getting a new lease with BMW versus going from Lease to Purchase (plus they wouldn't charge me for some door dings and bumper scratches). Anyone have any info on what he might be talking about?

Looking at a few hefty fees on turn-in ($1700 for some bumper scratches and dents) which has me thinking about what my next step is (was considering Audi)

BMW will typically overlook small items if you lease from BMW again. This courtesy can be extended with purchases as well, but they may not cut you as much slack unless you finance through BMW. Dealer gets more money when they can retain customers so they will be inclined to help out if they can.

But I'd get what you want regardless of the turn in fees. You'll regret settling unless the $1700 is going to break you.
