Sorry - just for clarity. I programmed the M Performance logo via the cluster display and the HUD display... but I thought you couldn't program the NAV to also show it. Has this changed?

If so, what is required for teh M Performace to show up on the NAV screen on start up? Cna you please PM me details. Many thanks.

AFAIK, the only available coding mod is the one you describe above.

So, I am wondering if yours does any more than normal, because if the new power kit does not deliver on that claim, it's a shame

i can't say it's a big difference to be honest. I know it says that in the press release and it also mentions new sport displays, but that doesn't change if you have MT. I want to say burble is a bit different, but again, it's not obvious enough for you to notice.

Interested to see other MT cars and AUTO cars with it soon to compare.

In the US, if it's an attractive woman, usually 6 inches.

So for all of us, I would imagine it's a gradual increase power delivery in comfort mode without sacrificing mileage (as they claim)...but full fury in Sport.
Agreed, everyone has a different definition of comfort. And unless the settings are infinitely adjustable some people will always find setting A too much or setting B too little etc.

As long as people know what they are getting themselves into there won't be a problem.

The thing to keep in mind is that there is always a little bit of an adaptation or break-in period when you install new software.

This was always the case when I had Dinan software installed on my E90 335i sedans.

Even with respect to the M Performance Exhaust on the F30 - it took well over 600 miles for the exhaust to break in. The overrun "pop" or "burble" was much louder and more dramatic after I had put some miles on the exhaust. The exhaust note in general flat-out sounded better after the break-in, too. At around the 1,000 mile mark, the exhaust started producing all sorts of little pops, cracks, and burbles when decelerating or downshifting - even in EcoPro mode.

Take all that FWIW.

Agreed. The car is def more responsive after a fw hundred miles on it. As for the exhaust, im fine with it as it is...i'd rather BMW just not say it was going to sound that much different if it wasn't, but i dont "miss" it per se.

Did anyone put the stickers on a Mineral Grey car? Could you post pictures? I'm getting the PPK and have yet to decide on putting the stickers or not. I was wondering if there is enough contrast between the "performance" font color and the paint of the car.

My PPK is still in germany...sigh.

I think it'll look hot. I think.

Understandable. What did BMW say it would be . . . "emotionally enticing"? I think something was lost in translation there haha.

I don't know if I can give you a fair, apples-to-apples comparison, as I have the M Performance Exhaust, which produces a considerably more aggressive "burble" and exhaust note than the stock system. That's saying a lot, in my opinion, because I think BMW did a great job with the OEM exhaust.

Not sure if anyone with AT has had this installed yet? If so please set up a separate thread. I plan to get mine installed end of next week.

FYI this is not necessary as the 335i is explosive enough.

Thanks. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it

One thing I am curious about is will the car shift to third before hitting 60. Of course it may take you a couple of days before doing this but with the current set up, it shifts to third around 55mph.

If you can please set up a separate thread.

Certainly. Dealer called me. Package is in. Ugh. Wish I could have dropped off car last night. Would have had it tonight. I have to do it this way because I work and can't afford to take off. But I'm excited to go tonight drop it off and hopefully get it back Tomm night and have a nice detailed post on the AT side. I have about a 25 mile drive back so it should be somewhat of a decent review and analysis
