The car looks sharp.

  • Fog Light Delete
  • Gloss Black Window Trim
  • Body Color Side Mirrors
  • Additional Cooling Radiator on Driver's Side (335/435 only?)
  • Limited (and some unique) Color Choices
  • Limited Interior Colors
  • Unique Interior Accents

The biggest cost is converting the bumpers, but this has been made much more affordable on the 335 with many quality replica products available (usually about 1/4-1/3 the cost of OEM).

You can end up with a car that has the best of both worlds. The OP, for example, now has an M-Sport in Mineral White, something BMW won't let you order in the USA.
Prefer OEM over after market products for fitment and durability.

eBay spoiler from Taiwan. $150 painted. Decided to do a color match on the car instead of black or CF.

Congratz on the transformation. Cool that you didn't "simply" sell it to get the one you wanted.
It's been said numerous times, but the Msport bumpers just completely transform the F series. Imho the sport/luxury front just looks so cheap somehow.

Much prefer the body colored spoiler over the CF one.
Really dig the wheels in combination with the Msport too!

Nice work on your msport conversion.

I currently have an msport bumper w/ fog lights and have been thinking of deleting the fog lights.

Could you please share as to how you deleted the fog lights? did any error codes popped up?

Appreciate the help.

The bumper I ordered had fog light delete grills. I believe the guy that installed it moved the assembly side or did something to remove the fog lights, sorry I don't know exactly, but there are a number of methods you can do to "delete" the lights.

An error code popped up and I had to code my car to not check for fog lights.

Blue calipers. Paint match on the bumper is not perfect but tough to get an exact match on the mineral white metallic.

My family owns a few collision repair facility's in Canada, While it is harder to tell via just a picture, I think the paint match looks excellent. Usually 1 shade off on a color that is hard to match is common, your pictures look like it isn't even a full shade off.

Looks great man!

After a few weeks, I realized I had made a horrible horrible mistake by not opting for the M Sport package. It got to the point where I would look at cars on the forums and feel deep jealousy and regret.

Well, as of today I finally ditched the Sport Line bumpers and had my M sport kit installed. I purchased the bumper, rear bumper and side skirts from getbmwparts and found a body shop that was able to do the paint match and install.

There were a few hiccups on the way - I didn't get the lower middle mesh grill shipped as part of the package, the rear reflectors were not included. My body shop ordered them from the nearby dealer because I couldn't afford to keep my car in the shop that long. I also managed to chip the paint around the front tow hook ring when trying to install my license bracket , so I'll have to pick up some touch up paint. But overall, very satisfied with the result.

35% Llumar tint all around, M Sport front bumper with fog light deletes, rear bumper, side skirts, painted reflectors, and painted calipers.

Neighbor's red Lexus RC in the back

Can I ask what shop you did it at? I'm in the LA area and debating doing the same conversion.

Wow it looks so much better with the m-sport body kit. I love the wheels. If you are still thinking of modding you could paint the inner part of the wheels gloss black. It makes a great contrast with the spokes.

Where in LA did you get your bumpers painted? They look great.

Very nice project. The spoiler looks perfect. Your Mineral White M Sport is now a collector's item.

Thanks for sharing!

Me too!

I did the same exact thing. Didnt realize just how different the appearance of the MSport is...and just like you I changed just about everything I possibly could. The only thing I didnt do was add the Msport logo......I dont think I should

Anyone know if he had to retrofit new blind spot radars for the rear bumper to fit? Doing this same conversion with OEM parts and just don't know if my old radars will work.
