Looks lovely mate. Should be very proud of that car

Thank you mate, to be honest it was really easy to wire up and run through to the front, it was just threading it through behind the dash that was a bit of a faff (and hand scratcher lol!)

Bit of an update, I have been doing some tinkering the last few weeks:

Added VLAN Smoke/Clear real LED light, really happy with them.. especially like the progressive indicators :-)

Also swapped the gloss front grills out for matte black so the entire car is now matte black :-)

and added matte black mirror covers.

Been in for a remap this morning, I requested a safe and reliable map rather than pushing to the limits and incredibly happy with the results:

318D, N47 143bhp engine currently on 72k
  • 141bhp to 186bhp
  • Torque 338Nm to 431Nm

Difference driving is genuinely night and day, very refined, the uplift in power and in particular the torque is really noticeable through all gears.

If you're on the fence I highly recommend, superb service from J28 Remaps too if you are local :-)

Nice one! That's a decent increase in power and torque
Interesting curves as well. Torque peaking later and power peaking earlier. All runs done in 4th gear as well by the looks of it.

I wonder what's the hardware differences between the N47 318d and 320d?

Car is looking great as always!

Thanks very much mate :-)

From what I have read, main difference is the injectors... main block and turbo are the same as far as I can see. Having run it for a few days and been on a couple of decent runs I'm pleased to say MPG seems very slightly better too which is a relief haha!

Very nice. +45 would definitely be quite noticeable.

Well, I finally decided on the Bilstein B14's... just arrived and hopefully get them fitted tomorrow so I'll share some before and afters... hoping to get them set for a finger width gap at the top of the arches.

Ooooshh... very happy!!

Arrived yesterday, fitted today and I am absolutely chuffed with them, completely transform the look of the car and exactly how I wanted them, going for a more aggressive OEM look with all the mods I have done and they fit the bill perfectly. Just going to have a look at some 10mm or 15mm spacers now to finish it off.

Ride is absolutely fine, tight, confidence inspiring but not bone shaking by any stretch, again exactly what I hoped for.

Some before and after pics at the bottom, they are set to 66 front and 67 rear.

I also added the perspex covering to the cross bars behind the front grills :-)

Thank you mate, much appreciated. Very happy with the coilovers, exactly the look I was hoping for. May raise the rears a little once they settle :-)

Car looks so good lowered!
You can even go for 15mm up front and 20mm out back in the spacer department.

When I lowered mine I was happy… but when I fitted spacers, it just made the car look so much better.

I was looking at getting some tinting material to do the foglights so they blend in with the trim, never really liked them. Messaged my local tinter on the off chance and he said nip it around now and I'll sort them for a tenner haha! So, got them done this morning and really like the finish.

Waiting on my H&R spacers to arrive from MLPerformance, I've gone for 10mm front and 13mm rear, will also be raising the rear coilovers about 10mm when I fit the spacers too.

Had a couple of hours free today so bought some wire brush attachments for the drill, got the callipers back to metal, cleaned them up with brake cleaner, masked the pads and retaining clips off and painted them grey... look smarter now :-) Also swapped the DRL's out for LED's and the sidelights and main beam out for Philips Ultra White bulbs.

Callipers looking great. This is an annual job I do too.
Brave doing it out in this cold, mate!

Going to transform the look once you've got those spacers!

Been looking for some rear bumper skirts that match the BMW side skirts rather than those that stick out, went for these in the end and got them painted matte black to match the rest of the car, very happy, perfect match to continue the line between the side to the rear diffuser

A strangely satisfying morning of engine bay detailing, managed to burn through four paint brushes!

Clean build! I think some updated headlights would look great though, I myself have halogens and they arent too impressive. Maybe some aftermarkets like the pre-lci from Depo or LCI from AKD?

Thank you mate, yeah I keep looking at the Depo's but (and I know its a controversial opinion haha!) I actually quite like the look of the halogen lights, I've put some of the white LED's in place of the normal bulbs and they are pretty bright now.
