Track Pads for base 328i

What is everyone running for track pads? Most of the pads I'm seeing are only available if you have M Sport brakes or a 335i, there aren't too many options available for standard 328i brakes.

I think Hawk or Stop Tech should have something available for the smaller brakes

I used the StopTech Sport pads on my 228i that had the base brakes. They worked very well and made a huge difference combined with better fluid and the StopTech Stainless lines. All in I was less than $100/corner. I got my stuff from a rocky automotive source. The only thing was the thickness sensors didn't work with those pads. I just left them unplugged and tied them up. They have had a melting issue on some cars during track days. I will go this same route on the wagon when the time comes.

The hawk hp plus or Hawk 5.0 series pads I have used in the past for track days and worked great. I did upgrade the rotors to stop tech slotted and also the brake fluid (motul) - which I found to be the key for a strong track day use. Good Luck.

I agree, I also have the StopTech/PowerSlot (slotted only) brake rotors and am running the Hawk Pads.

Also if you are on base brakes (single Piston) you can look at the options for the E90 328I Sedan models for more options. They are exact same brakes.

My next setup will be Sparta brakes (Rotors and Pads). They are local to me in Seattle WA and have a cool wave design for the rotors and brake pads are next tech. I have seen there track cars and rode in one. Felt really good.
