>> Photoshoot - M3 Conversion Final Pictures

Hey Guys,

Here is the thread from the M3 conversion: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1141872

Includes all mods including the custom wide body rear and such. Will add the M3 hood and M performance breaks and I am done with the car.. besides de-batching it

Here we go..

Looks amazing, I don't think there's much more you can do aesthetically anymore!

9/10, will be a 10/10 once you get rid of the M3 badges

Thanks. The M3 badges were more of an extra from my local tuner to compliment the look and match the front fenders.

The car just got glass coated, so I am not sure if I can take the badge off the trunk, without leaving some sort of mark. Will wait another week before I proceed with that.

Before anyone asks.. 'Why didn't you just get a M3?'

Never intended on getting, or wanting one. Simply ran out of ideas to modify my second daily driver and we ended up doing the M3 conversion.

Hope that clears it up and you guys can enjoy some car porn instead asking the same ol' question 300 times in this thread

Nice build, the wheels looks great!

But you need to upgrade the brakes to match the new aggressive exterior.

Looking much better in the photoshoot. I would recommend adding the M3 rear spoiler, Enlaes or Vorsteiner rear diffuser.

I never understand why people ask such ludicrous question. Its your money you can do whatever you want with it. Lets face it, there is nothing logical about getting any luxury car in the first place. If we applied logic to our car buying and modding decisions we would all be driving a totally stock Hyundai.

Bravo to you OP for doing this!

So it looks like an f80, but goes like an f30? Why would you do this?

Looks good though..... But take the ///M3 badges off. It's not an ///M3.

They are OEM, you'll get them at any BMW dealership for around $3,000 USD.

Had my shop do it and will ask them for you. They work like the original ones, with folding and all other functions. Even got some sort of dimmed light that make the visibility easier when driving at night. Didn't have that on my original F30 mirrors.

So true! Like I said we simply ran out of ideas and thats not being a real M3, well I could care less. I had fun doing the project with my local shop and truth to be told I could probably buy 2-3 real M3's in the US, for the money I put in the car by now. Even in the first post I mentioned that the de-badging was a good-will type of thing from my local tuner and if anyone needs to get caught up and scream 'it's not a real M3' well, I wish I had your problems I am not even 30 years old and earned every cent in my life on my own, so unless it affects anyone else wallet it's really up to me what I do with my money.

Just like the Techart Cayman S in my signature - it probably cost me as much as a brand new Lamborghini Hurrane in the US but over here we got 300% import tax.. so haters gonna hate i guess

Like you said theres nothing logical about modifying a car unless it's for ride comfort or to be more eco friendly and such things but 'tuning' a car is a costly hobby like every other. Nothing more, nothing less

I'd post some pics of my Gallardo but i'd rather not get flamed for having a superleggera spoiler on it

Agree so much just enjoy it mate it's yours to spend! There is so much fun and gratification in modding a car and making it your own!
That said I like buying OEM as well my 28i F36 feels so perfect out of the factory but still don't think I'll be able to resist the modding bug for more than a year!.. If I had the money I would probably do both kind of like in GTA V Online Do post pics though.. The internet makes some of us easily inflammable but in the end we all love sports cars

One small detail, the vents on the rear bumper, on the bottom, on each side need to be black.

Oops, same on the front bumper.
