Depends where you are in the country as to which port it comes into.

For North of England they come in via Immingham and then go on to Thorne.

for the south, they come into Southampton and then go straight to dealers (they have a prep center at the docks)

For Immingham shipments it DFDS Seaways

For Southampton its the Wallenius Wilhelmsen ships (I think)

I found stalking my new cars to be a very exciting part - especially when you can trace it to the ship and then follow it across the sea (sad I know)

Really glad I found this thread, I was frustrated that I couldn't track the order.

Looks like the car is on track for the new year!

By arrive, does Louis mean arrive in the UK, or arrive at my dealer? (I should have asked Louis, really)

It will be the forecast date to arrive at the dealer. I was advised of a delivery date of to the dealer of w/c 14 December and it arrived on the 15 December.

Will a 1 series by from a different factory / port to a 3 series? My M135i has today been built but is due at the dealers week 1 2016. The delivery date has been week 1 2016 since I ordered in mid November.

I think mine will be with the dealer next week, but he has said anytime from 4th Jan for collection.

I wonder if they are holding it back to bump up their Jan sales figures?

Not too bad though as work is keep me busy until the morning of the 6th, which is when I am hoping to collect.
