Why not spread the 50k spend out over the next few years by trying out a few used performance cars at the 20-25k mark? A used Porsche 911 (997) is certainly within budget.

If purchased wisely you can minimise the loss when selling and have the fun/experience of several different cars. It will also make life easier with mortgage finance for the house with less outgoings on car finance.

My one regret with cars is not owning or trying enough different models once insurance became reasonable when I was your age.

The 440i didnt have super car slaying performance like reviews on here suggest?

Shock horror. Lol

Thank you. I checked previous gen Cayman 3.4 litre before, but don't like front design of air intakes, round fog lights, nav and infotainment system is crap as you would expect and APR on used cars are very high and this is the main reason even i can live with the car without any technology. I think insurance will be, very, very high as well...I like old Cayman GTS very much, but too expensive and its way out of my budget at the moment. I'll take your advice sir and try to minimise spending and also spend wisely.

Old GTS, very nice.

Porsche sells each for nearly £200 as option with matching exterior colour when ordering the car lol. Probably think customers are so dumb lol. Anyway, i am sorry mate if you see me as a troll, but i'm a very humble, down to earth, and hard working individual in real life. Too much time in my hands today, day offf!

This is it! The third gold thread that makes up the hat trick (one and two being keyfobgate/3L vs 2L and Caroline5)! What a genius idea to start a thread where you literally just write down whatever comes into your head

What a week. I've not watched any telly, done any work or spoken to the family. Cat is dead because he can't open the tins himself.

This thread is not a BMW bashing thread anymore as it seems...

Takes 22.5 secs to hit 220 km/h (135 mph)

Same model i drove, 40i convertible. Interesting review if you have time!!!

This was supposed to be a dedicated thread to freely talk about things you don't like about BMW, or areas where you think BMW should improve, or features/options you wish BMW had and offered. And I am okay, thanks for asking.

Sorry about this thread in wrong section, and making you confused.

Good engine, but wish it would produce more BHP and pull a bit faster with it's 3 litre capacity.

Next test drive.

Agreed ... the text of the posts is almost exactly the same as those of Astute BMW, posts for whom were regrettably deleted by the mods.

Anyway can't stop I'm off out to test a Bugatti Veyron this afternoon.

My friends are very jealous. Most can only afford brand new 540i

Seriously? I feel sorry for you judging other people based on sentences or words he writes online? You don't know me and that is not the point of this thread. I'm just a humble, and hard working individual who speaks freely and says what he has in mind like Donald Trump does. I am done!!! Please write me only if you have ideas or suggestions to contribute which help me decide what car to get. PS I don't even have friends, let alone bragging about friends getting new 540i lol. MR JWW used to work in the club as glass collector, but he now owns 675 LT, F12, GT3 RS, RS6 and many other toys. So, life can go up and down and down and up!!!

That was hilarious .... she was called Tey

24 hours of twitter later......

"after Microsoft introduced an innocent Artificial Intelligence chat robot to Twitter it has had to delete it after it transformed into an evil Hitler-loving, incestual sex-promoting, 'Bush did 9/11'-proclaiming

I'm thinking in addition to everything else going on in his life he must also be the head of a traffic division.

This possibly also explains why he spends a lot of time on the autobahn.

Jeez I think I have cracked it

My sincere apologies. I no wish to offend

I have sent profuse apologies to my friends ( both of them)

This has also caused me to re think the test drive in the Veyron and to reconsider the many benefits of public transport particularly when travelling in city.

Dealer is very disappointed but understands. I'm sure he'll make commission up somehow.
