I just coded a few things, it is bloody brilliant, so much quicker and easier than using e-sys!
Are there any advantages to E-sys over BimmerCode? I'd be comfortable with either, just trying to see if I should get a wired E-sys or wireless BimmerCode friendly adapter. If I'm not losing anything with BimmerCode, I'd stick with that not to lug a laptop to the car every time.

No it doesn’t appear e-sys has any advantages to Bimmercode now, except you also need Bimmerlink if you want to do fault reading/clearing.

Sounds good, I like the convenience. Will get an adapter and give BimmerCode a shot.

Have you actually gone into time/date settings and turned auto time setting back on?

Yes it will definitely be able to, if you know the different FDL changes that need to be made.

I have the carly app, had it for years and it helped me out a fair few times with my e91

Does anyone know if it can turn on the tyre temps from the valve sensors?

Still no BimmerLink app for Android. So are there any apps similar to BimmerLink out there for Android. Free would be obviously be best.

I’ve briefly looked through this but couldn’t find anything. I currently have Carly, I do like it but I do prefer the look of BimmerCode more. More features and it’s cheaper but..... I do all the servicing myself and I can reset the service timer on all the parts with Carly, can that be done with bimmercode? And can you read daily codes?

I do my own servicing as well. You can reset all the timers directly in the car, you don't need to code them

If I remember correctly, hit the start button on the car without touching the pedals, hold the BC stalk in for 15 seconds, then a menu will pop up on your cluster display that you can scroll through and reset at will.

Oh ok, is it fairly straight forward. I do like the way that Carly is laid out. It tells me the percentage of what I have left on my oil, pads etc etc.
