AFE intake and scoops

hey guys, im new to the f30 scene and just picked up my car. definitely wish the car had a little more growl/sound to it and was looking into possibly purchasing an intake. Is the AFE intake worth it? or is it better to go the AFE drop in filters and scoops route? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys!!

It would definitely give you the sound increase. I find $400 just for sound a bit much, so used or on sale is more worth it. It was $270 during black Friday, that is more like it. That same sale I got the scoop for $35 lol.

Mod Bargains. Its only one scoop. Might not do a thing, but $35 shipped, I figured screw it lol. I have yet to buy the intake.

I'm very happy with my AFE intake and scoops, I would recommend getting them.

Pic of the scoops from the front and under hood please. I can't see where they would install on my car
